MJH Consulting

A boutique product consulting firm. We bring in specialists bespoke to your challenges, to help you build and ship desirable products that are inclusive by design and uplift the communities we impact.

Who we are

What MJH Consulting is

MJH Consulting is a boutique product consulting firm. We help product and technology leaders make the decisions that scale. Which AI bets are worth making, how to govern them, and how to move them through an organization that already has its own velocity.

We bring in specialists bespoke to your challenge, the exact expertise a given problem needs, and we lean into the emerging-tech frontier where the patterns are still being discovered.

What drives us

Mission & Vision

Mission

Curate the best products across every industry. Empathetic to the people who use them, built with the latest technology, and made responsibly.

We help leaders shape products that start from real user needs, apply today's most capable technology with intent, and hold to a standard of responsible, inclusive design from the first decision through launch.

Vision

A frontier where underrepresented communities are held in mind from the very first decision, so inclusion is built in from the start.

The products that will define the next decade are being shaped right now. We want the firms and founders building them to have a partner who holds the business outcome and the human one at the same time.

Inclusive by design, built to uplift

Technology is never neutral. It carries the choices and the blind spots of the people who make it, and those land hardest on communities that were not in the room. Our purpose is to change who is in the room. We build for everyone a product will actually reach, we put diversity at the center of how we work from the very first decision, and we build with underrepresented communities in mind, to help uplift the communities our work reaches.

Representative research

The people a product affects are in discovery from the start, especially the ones usually studied last. Real behavior from a full range of users shapes the strategy.

Bias & harm review

Before anything ships, we examine the data, models, and flows for who could be misclassified, excluded, surveilled, or put at risk, and redesign until the answer is defensible.

Accessibility as a floor

Assistive technology, plain language, and low-bandwidth realities are requirements. A product that only works for the able, the affluent, and the well-connected is unfinished.

Accountability to community

We name the communities a product affects and check the work against their reality. When a build cannot be made safe for the people it reaches, we say so.

What we stand for

Core values

A short list we actually use. It shapes what we take on, who we bring in, and how we build.

Products that scale

We build for what comes after launch. Products that keep working as users, data, and complexity grow.

Equity from the first decision

Inclusion is a design input we bring at the start, so the people usually left out are considered from the beginning.

Service and excellence

A standard the founder holds personally and asks of every engagement, for clients and for the people who do the work.

Specialists, bespoke to the work

We bring in the exact expertise a challenge needs and match it to the work in front of us.

Built to uplift

We build with underrepresented communities in mind, to help uplift them and everyone our clients' products reach.

Own the outcome

We hold ourselves to the result, not the deliverable, and stay in it until the work moves your business.

Leadership

The founder

MJH Consulting is founded and led by Malcolm J. Henry, Founder & Principal Advisor. Malcolm is an enterprise product manager with more than seven years shaping software inside large organizations. Today he is a Senior Associate Product Manager and reporting lead at Autodesk, where he owns the strategy, roadmap, and OKRs for an enterprise reporting and usage-analytics domain, and where he helped drive an enterprise agentic-AI admin product from concept through customer beta to launch.

Before Autodesk, he built product and delivery at Goldman Sachs, Accenture, and Deloitte. At Goldman Sachs he owned the servicing product roadmap for more than six million users and led the separation of data across thirty-plus firmwide systems through a major divestiture. At Accenture he ran agile delivery for the global relaunch of Accenture.com and directed change management for one of the largest HCM transformations in the U.S., reaching ninety thousand employees across thirty-four agencies. The through-line across all of it is enterprise complexity with a real user at the end of it.

His advisory work sits where enterprise product management meets AI. Which bets are worth making, how to govern them, and how to actually ship them. He holds an M.B.A. from Emory's Goizueta Business School and a B.B.A. from Howard University, and carries SAFe Advanced Scrum Master and Product Owner / Product Manager certifications. Service and excellence are core values he believes in deeply and carries into the firm, and every engagement he takes on is built with equity in mind from the start.
